Captain Buttcrack gathered his crew and told them the mission. They were going to find the child. He did not know what would happen once they got there. Most likely they would all die. Most of the crew decided to stay behind with the monks and wait for another ship to work on. Even if they weren’t going to confront the massive water child, they would have still stayed behind. They were tired of adventures. Only Octo-doctor, Luba and slim agreed to join him.

The monks gave them some cannon balls and spears and food. Luba and slim said goodbye to their friends. Captain Buttcrack stayed on the ship, waiting for them. Slim was very hesitant as he had been from the beginning.

“We shouldn’t do this,” Slim said.

“I’ll play rock paper scissors with you. If I win we go, if you win we stay.”

“Ok.”

Together they chanted “rock paper scissor shoot.”

Slim put his fist out. Luba grabbed his fist and spit on it. “I slimed you! Slime beats rock,” she said.

She always did that. Every time they played she made up some random move that beat his rock. Every time.

Slim began to cry. Soupy tears fell down his cheeks. Luba wiped them away and tongued kissed him until he calmed down.
